KATE GUPTON

Kate is a professional dancer, choreographer and dance teacher from Raleigh, NC. Kate is currently pursuing her MFA in choreography from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Before going back to school, Kate was the dance teacher at North Graham Elementary, a title 1 school in Alamance County. Kate works as a dance teacher at many local studios and has had the privilege of choreographing for the Rainbow Dance Company for the past five years. Kate works as a teaching artist, performer, and emerging Extended Professional Company (EPC) choreographer with Black Box Dance Theatre under the leadership of Michelle Pearson. Kate has trained at American Dance Festival, UNCG, and Unitec in Auckland, New Zealand.
