LIZ SANFORD

Liz Sanford, a North Carolina native, earned her BA in Dance from UNC-Charlotte and then performed professionally with Bodiography Charlotte, Kinetic Works, and Room to Move Dance. In addition to dancing, she spent time singing and acting at Six Flags Over Georgia, Sesame Place, and Carowinds theme parks, as well as in television and film. Liz had the pleasure of training with Sesame Workshop to originate the puppetry role of Maya Monster, which she performed on two national tours with Sesame Street Live! Currently, Liz enjoys performing in and choreographing musical theater productions, as well as teaching dance around the Triangle. She has been a company member of Black Box Dance Theatre since 2022.
