MARISSA SCHROEDER

Marissa Schroeder is a contemporary dance artist from North Carolina. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Dance and Choreography in 2024. Schroeder has trained at multiple professional programs including American Dance Festival, Hubbard Street Chicago Dance Intensive, and B12 Dance Festival. Her most recent performances include works by Tú Hoàng, Christina McKinney, Michelle Pearson, and Shaleigh Comerford. Marissa is excited to continue her work with Shaleigh Dance Works— premiering in “enVISION: The Next Chapter” as a part of the American Dance Festival 2024 season, and begin as a Company Member with Black Box Dance Theatre for the 25/26 Season.
